Prom and My Somewhat Existential Crisis

I thought she was nice before I asked her to be my prom date. I thought we were going to have fun time. I thought this prom was going to be the memory that I'll never forget.
She tried to manipulate me on what I should do. She tried to force me out of the group that we were going to go out with. She tried to fXXX everything up.
And she did.
There are still seventeen more days until prom. There are still more trivial conflicts to be resolved with her. There are plenty of opportunities for her to just calm down and still have fun.
But she fXXXed it up.
Maybe I shouldn't have asked her out in the first place. Maybe I'm unnecessarily stresse
